How do I play Paper Soccer?

Paper Soccer is a strategy game played on a grid. Two players take turns drawing lines between grid points, trying to move the ball into the opponent's goal. When the ball lands on a point that already has lines connected to it, you get a bonus move. The first player to score wins!

What game modes are available?

• vs AI: Play against a smart AI opponent with 3 difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard)
• Pass & Play: Play locally on one device with a friend
• Online Multiplayer: Challenge other players over the internet

Do I need an internet connection?

No! You can play against the AI or use Pass & Play mode completely offline. Internet is only required for online multiplayer matches and leaderboards.

How does the ELO rating system work?

Your ELO rating starts at 500 and changes based on online match results. Beating higher-rated players earns more points, while losing to lower-rated players costs more. The system ensures fair and competitive matchmaking.

How do I invite a friend to play online?

Start a new online game and you'll receive an invite code. Share this code with your friend. They can enter the code in the "Join Game" section to connect to your match.

Can I watch replays of past games?

Yes! Go to your match history and select any completed game to watch a move-by-move replay. This is a great way to learn from your games and improve your strategy.

How do I change my username?

Go to your profile in the App and tap on your username to edit it. Usernames must be 3-20 characters and can contain letters, numbers, and underscores.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from the App settings. This will permanently remove your profile, rating, and game history. This action cannot be undone.

What data do you collect?

We collect minimal data: a randomly generated User ID, your chosen username, and gameplay data (moves, scores, ratings). We do not collect your email, location, or any personal information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How can I request my data?

Under GDPR and CCPA, you have the right to access your data. Email us at mateusz.krasniewski19@gmail.com and we will provide a copy of your data within 30 days.

The app crashes or won't open

• Make sure you have the latest version of the App installed
• Restart your device
• If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the App (note: this will reset your local session)
• Contact us with your device model and OS version if the problem continues

Online multiplayer isn't working

• Check your internet connection (WiFi or mobile data)
• Try closing and reopening the App
• If matchmaking takes too long, there may not be enough players online - try again later or invite a friend directly with an invite code

My opponent disconnected mid-game

If your opponent disconnects or abandons the game, the match will automatically be resolved in your favor after a short timeout period. Your rating will be updated accordingly.

I want to report inappropriate behavior

If you encounter an offensive username or suspect cheating, please email us at mateusz.krasniewski19@gmail.com with details (opponent's username, date/time of the match). We take fair play seriously and will investigate all reports.
